why is olive oil always drizzled over food?
never smeared or sprayed. decanted or daubed. poured- forgeddaboutitt
drizzled makes it sound so light and healthy, like summer rain

I tried cooking indian veggies in olive oil; it's not an experience I want to repeat :P

You're right about the drizzle and health parrallel. The last five recipes I looked up in a health food book used 'drizzle', and especially in the dessert section. So it isn't just olive oil. You can drizzle a carob-maple syrup over a raw coconut-vanilla mousse.
As long as you're drizzling, everything's safe.
