Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Hi, I chanced upon your blog while browsing. To say that you have a good sense of humour would be an understatement.Your blogs have a "feel good" quality about them. Although there were some blogs that i didn't understand, most of them made an enjoyable read. Jayshree
re: the inexplicable bits, i know i often don't translate words or thoughts on the blob, mostly out of laziness. and partly because when i first read "midnight 's children", i really enjoyed the way rushdie didn't italicise hindi words or explain them. they just sat there. i have applied that principle to the blob in ruthless fashion. nothing is explained!
